Terminology
Service Fee - If Won
"Service Fee - If Won" is our service fee that we apply when a vehicle is successfully acquired through our services. We calculate this fee as a percentage of the sale amount. If the calculated fee is less than $400, we charge a flat $400 service fee.
Service Fee - If Not Won
"Service Fee - If Not Won" is a service fee that we apply in cases where a vehicle is not successfully purchased through our services, but still attempted. This fee is charged even if the bidding process does not result in a successful acquisition of the vehicle or if you choose to cancel your order before the auction time.
Security Deposit
”Security Deposit” refers to a minimum refundable deposit required for account creation. Please be aware that this deposit is mandatory and is generally eligible for a refund upon account closure, unless it has been retained by us to cover unpaid balances, defaulted payments, or other violations. It is important to note that this amount represents the minimum requirement and may be subject to recalculation to a higher amount based on your business size or inventory interest.
U.S. Shipping
"U.S. Shipping" indicates whether it is mandatory for you to utilize our shipping service for transporting the vehicle to your chosen destination within the United States, or if you have the option to make your own shipping arrangements.
International Shipping
"International Shipping" indicates whether it is mandatory for you to utilize our shipping service for transporting the vehicle to your chosen destination outside the United States, or if you have the option to make your own shipping arrangements.
Payment Deadline
"Payment Deadline" signifies the total number of days at your disposal, including the auction day itself, within which you are required to complete the payment for a purchase. It's important to note that the payment is considered complete only when we have received it, not when you have sent it. In other words, the payment is deemed finalized upon its receipt by us, not at the time of sending.
Administrative Late Fee
"Administrative Late Fee" is a fee assessed in cases of late payment, in addition to any fees imposed by the auction. This penalty is incurred when payment is not made within the specified timeframe.
Documentation & Mailing
"Documentation & Mailing" fee covers the cost associated with processing and sending your title paperwork to your designated address. Please note that this fee does not encompass expenses related to state registration and taxes, which may be separate and are not included in this charge.
Payment Default Fee
"Payment Default Fee" refers to a portion of your deposit, represented as a percentage, which will be retained by us permanently if you fail to make a timely payment for your purchase.
Important:
Transportation services will be quoted separately if they are applicable to your purchase. Additionally, any other costs incurred during the process of acquiring, transporting, and registering your vehicle, which may include but not limited to auction fees, terminal handling expenses, registration fees and taxes, will be passed on to you. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are well-informed about the relevant local, state, and federal laws, as well as the terms and conditions of the auction. You should also be aware of any potential additional expenses that may arise during the process. Staying informed about these factors is crucial to a smooth and compliant transaction.
